Wholeness, Uncertainty, and Self-measurement : Three Fundamental Principles in Concurrent-systems Engineering

چکیده

A good design, development, and maintenance methodology for concurrent systems must be based on a deep recognition and understanding of the intrinsic characteristics of concurrent systems. Based on the author’s recognition and understanding of the wholeness principle of concurrent systems and the uncertainty principle in measuring and monitoring concurrent systems, a new design principle, named the “self-measurement principle,” for large-scale, long-lived, and highly reliable concurrent systems is proposed. The self-measurement principle requires that a large-scale, long-lived, and highly reliable concurrent system should be constructed by some function components and some (maybe only one) permanent self-measurement components that act concurrently with the function components, measure and monitor the system itself according to some requirements, and pass run-time information about the system’s behavior to the outside world of the system.

Space Vector Control Scheme of Three Level ZSI Applied to Wind Energy Systems

In this paper the Space Vector Control Scheme is implemented for a Wind Energy System using Three Level Impedance Source Inverter (ZSI). The wind energy system uses a Self Excited Induction generator (SEIG) which is the most emerging application in the field of Wind Energy Conversion System (WECS). The proposed system is modelled with a generator-side Diode Bridge Rectifier and a Stand-Alone si...

A Self-Consistent Technique for the Construction and Evaluation of the Three-Parameter Corresponding States Principles

A self-consistent approach for the evaluation of the existing three-parameter corresponding states principles of non-polar fluids and the calculation of the corresponding states parameters is presented. This self consistent approach is based upon the assumption that the contribution of the third parameter to the thermophysical properties is much smaller than the contributions of the first two p...
